PressFriendly reviews every handbook page before publication.
Named authorship, primary-source research, commercial disclosure, and correction rules make the guidance inspectable. PressFriendly remains responsible for the final text, including work supported by research and editing tools.
A named author and publisher own the final judgment.
Handbook pages name Joel Andren as author and PressFriendly as publisher. PressFriendly selects the buying question, approves the conclusion, reviews the supporting evidence, and decides what is published.
Research, organization, and copyediting may use software and AI-assisted tools. Those tools do not own factual approval, source selection, commercial disclosure, or the final recommendation. PressFriendly does not intentionally publish unreviewed generated text as handbook guidance.
Consequential claims should remain traceable to their source.
Source hierarchy
Regulators, statutes, platform policies, professional standards, original research, and other primary sources take priority. Secondary sources provide context when a primary source is unavailable or does not answer the buying question.
Measurement context
Published figures retain material context such as date, sample, geography, definition, and causal limit. PressFriendly operating data is labeled as first-party evidence rather than an industry benchmark.
Uncertainty
Editorial selection, audience response, regulation, platform enforcement, and business outcomes remain outside a provider’s complete control. The guidance states those limits and routes specialist decisions to qualified advisers.
Link review
Sources and internal routes are checked during substantive review. A working link does not make a source current forever, so pages carry a review date and are revisited when rules, evidence, or the buying decision changes.
PressFriendly applies the buyer standard to itself.
PressFriendly publishes the handbooks and sells startup PR, executive visibility, media relations, content, and training services. That interest is stated on relevant pages. PressFriendly examples do not define the market, and the recommended decision may be an internal hire, another specialist, a smaller project, or no paid program.
The handbooks provide general buying and management guidance. They do not replace legal, tax, securities, employment, privacy, regulatory, security, or other qualified professional advice.
Material errors are corrected in the page and review record.
A correction should update the claim, source, and affected guidance. Review dates change after substantive review. Minor formatting edits do not need to reset the underlying evidence date.
To report a factual error, stale source, undisclosed conflict, or unclear recommendation, email founders@pressfriendly.com. Include the page URL and the evidence supporting the correction.
